Vice president of Spoon Takuya Kai and Export Manager Atsuta Noriko travelled from Japan on the Thursday to be greeted by Anthony and a race car trailer at Heathrow airport, then continued by road to complete the 650km Journey to Circuit de Clastres in France. It was a huge days traveling for them and we cannot thank them enough for enduring the typical M25 and Dover to Calais Ferry delays!
The show commenced Friday evening and closed its gates late Sunday afternoon.
There was track action, competitions and activities to keep the 2700 guests busy all weekend. We also ran a raffle prize for guests to the Spoon Sports stand.
We feel the event has grown and matured since our last visit and were made very welcome by the HEM team.
VP Takyua, needed to return to Japan on Monday but not without a quick stop in Staines London to grab some gifts from Toys R Us. The car park operator didn't quite know what to make of car and trailer trying to park in their multi-storey!
Atsuta stayed for a further 3 days with time to see the new Spoon Sports EU premises in Somerset and then return to London for a whistle stop tour and a little culture.
Thank you everyone that came to see us and we look forward to HEM#9
