    The Spoon non-asbestos clutch disc is full faced for increased power handling whilst maintaining the smooth clutch action as felt with the standard clutch.

    Combined with the Spoon Clutch Cover and other parts power increase of 30% can be handled without comprising clutch feel or smoothness.

  • MONOBLOCK CALIPER SET

    Product Overview

    The Spoon 4-pot caliper has been specifically designed and tested for Honda applications. Unlike other 4-pot calipers, Spoon calipers are direct fit and are designed to work with the stock brake system, including the ABS. Spoon calipers use stock Honda size brake pads, which gives users incredible flexibility in choosing pads and controlling future costs. The 4-pot calipers significantly improve both high speed braking and brake pedal feel and its consistency during track use.

     

    The 4-pot design also makes pad wear more even and minimizes rotor warpage. The aluminium construction greatly reduces un-sprung weight. These benefits are achieved while maintaining a stock feel for daily driving.

     

    Spoon calipers are manufactured by Nissin, the OE supplier of all Honda brakes. When the S2000 was released, Spoon designed the mono-block caliper with a one piece construction and greatly improved rigidity. This has now been made available for most models of Honda.

     

    PLEASE NOTE: This caliper kit is for use with the DC5. The calipers utilise a S2000 Pad and stock DC5 Disc

    Product Overview

    The Spoon racing thermostats promote greater cooling efficiency by significantly decreasing high engine temperatures resulting from modified applications.

    Once the engine is fully warmed up, the Spoon low-temperature racing thermostat will open at a lower temperature than standard thermostats. This allows the coolant to flow through the engine sooner, thus reducing and maintaining cooler engine temperatures. 

    OEM - Starts opeing at 78°- Fully open at 90°

  • LIMITED SLIP DIFF [1.5] (LSD)

    Product Overview

    The differential is a mechanical device that allows a flexible division of drive between the wheels allowing the car to corner. Load applied to the drive wheels during acceleration and cornering is always different from left to right wheel.  Due to this wheel spin can occur causing loss of control and acceleration performance.

     

    The Spoon LSD is a device which automatically reduces the loss of drive which can result from wheel spin on one side of the axle. In turn this conveys power and torque through the wheel with the most grip helping the wheel accelerate the car. In other words it is a necessity for all sport and race driving.

     

    The Spoon LSD is of Mechanical Type 1.5 way to front wheel drive applications and 1.75 way for rear wheels drive applications. Initial torque has been set at 9-9.5 KG (cold). As a characteristic of the mechanical LSD there is some dragging of the internal gear that can be felt in low speed cornering and clicking sound that can be heard.
