The Spoon N1 back box was developed and used on Spoon's race vehicles and is the ideal back box for the street and circuit enthusiast.
The N1 back box provides significantly improved exhaust flow and can be used with the stock b-pipe as it uses stock style flanges.
In addition, the N1 back box is one of the lightest available, weighing only 7.9lbs (3.5kg). The tip is 65mm, same size as stock, providing a subtle appearance.

The Twinblock calipers are a direct fit to the MY98 Spec DC2, DB8
For the EG6, EK4, GE8, GK5 and 96spec DC2 the conversion 282mm disc is required 45251-4H1014
If the conversion disc is used the installation of a 3mm spacer behind the disc will aslo be needed. The spacer is required to centrialise the disc in the caliper 45020-T03AL.
If the spacer is used we advise that you install extended wheel lug bolts.
The caliper is wider than OEM so please consider your wheel choice or requirements for wheel spacers.
EK9 brake pad profile required
The Spoon 4-pot caliper has been specifically designed and tested for Honda applications. Unlike other 4-pot calipers, Spoon calipers are direct fit and are designed to work with the stock brake system, including the ABS. Spoon calipers use stock Honda size brake pads, which gives users incredible flexibility in choosing pads. The 4-pot calipers significantly improve both high speed braking and brake pedal feel and its consistency during track use.
The 4-pot design also makes pad wear more even and minimizes rotor warpage. The aluminium construction also helps reduce un-sprung weight significantly. These benefits are achieved while maintaining a stock feel for daily driving.
Spoon calipers are manufactured by Nissin, the OE supplier of all Honda brakes. The twin-block caliper was developed over a year specifically for the EK9 Civic Type R and DC2 Integra Type R.
PLEASE NOTE: When installing Twin Block Calipers to the Civic EG, EK and 96 Spec DC2 a pair of Spoon 15” Brake Rotors, Long Hub Bolts and 3mm wheel spacers are required. Due to the addition width of the caliper to accommodate the 4 piston arrangement it may interfere with the wheel. Please check with wheel manufacture for clearance.45020-DCR-G00-BExcl. The Spoon Large Roll bar is effective in controlling the amount of body roll and the roll speed in the horizontal direction. The ticker bar adopts a higher rate than STD, increasing turning performance by reducing the role and increasing traction performance.
As a result, the car reacts quickly in response to steering operation, manoeuvrability becomes more natural, straight-line stability is also improved.

The Spoon throttle body is a reworked, brand new OEM Honda unit that has been taper bored and fitted with a large diameter butterfly.
The diamond cutting method used results in a mirror like surface finish internally which reduces resistance. During the cutting process the geometry of the body is changed to benefit from the venuri effect.
Engine and throttle response are improved, as is mid and upper rpm power. A 4-6hp improvement can be expected in the mid-rpm range.
The Spoon throttle body is a complete replacement unit and includes all necessary sensors.
To make the most of the venture effect and the increased air flow it is recommended that the inlet to the intake manifold is also enlarged. Potentially this will dramatically improve the potential horse power gains.
