Details
Bump Steer or Roll Steer is when your wheels steer themselves without input from the steering wheel. This effect happened when the vehicle suspension comes under compression or extension. When a car is designed and built, it is set up in a way to minimise this.
This undesirable effect can make the vehicles handling very unpredictable, especially on the limit
When modifiers make changed to their suspension geometry it can effect bump steer. This most commonly occurs when lowering a car.
Spoon have developed the Zero Bump Steer Kit for the front of the S2000 (AP1/2) to combat this potentially dangerous effect. Once installed the Turn in roll will feel more neutral, the steering wheel will return smoothly to its canter alignment and camber will be optimised.
Constructed from stainless steel for maximum strength and durability unlike most aftermarket alternatives that are usually constructed from alloy.
